About me
Tiril Jackson is a Norwegian singer, songwriter, and producer Living in Boston, USA. She was raised by her mother and grandparents in Senja, a small Island in the North of Norway. At the age of 12, she started taking vocal lessons after her family noticed her expanding interest in performing. In her teenage years, she spent a lot of time singing covers around bars, cafés, and small events in Norway. Tiril´s sound has a soulful essence to it with a mixture of modern jazz, R&B, and neo-soul. Her music draws heavily from life experiences and challenges she has had trying to find herself. Her debut single Bored was released in 2022, and was followed by her second single in July 2023 It´s Alright.

"My music is consistently personal and serves as a reflection of my life experiences. This EP represents an important chapter in my life of self-realization over the last three years. Each song holds a different aspect of this journey, expressing a variety of emotions including confusion, frustration, sadness, forgiveness, and hope.
Through my music, I strive to convey vulnerability and honesty. I try to create lyrics that resonate with people on a personal level, providing them with emotions they can connect with and sit in for a while.
